Mouse Skates Compatibility and Installation

Quick answer

Round dot skates fit many mouse bases because they are placed as separate contact points, but there is no universal layout. Install them on flat, balanced areas while keeping the sensor opening, screws, and switches clear, then test mouse stability before normal play.

How skates work

Skates are adhesive pieces fixed to the mouse base to reduce friction and give a smoother glide on the glass surface. They usually go where the original skates sit, or beside them.

How to measure your mouse base

  1. Flip the mouse and look at the original skate positions.
  2. Roughly measure the diameter or length of each original skate.
  3. From CREO's 20 pieces, pick the ones that fit or cover those positions.

Application steps

  1. Remove the old skates and clean the base well.
  2. Stick the new pieces in the right positions.
  3. Press for a few seconds and test the movement on the glass surface.

Tips for a strong hold

Make sure the base is clean and dry before sticking, and leave the skates for a few minutes before heavy use for a stronger bond.
